APPOINTMENTS, PROCLAMATIONS, PRESENTATIONS OR AWARDS A. Consider reappointments to the Cookeville Planning Commission. SPONSOR – JON WARD B. Consider appointment to the Cookeville Planning Commission. SPONSOR – JON WARD 5. OLD BUSINESS A. Consider approval of minutes of council meeting held on November 16, 2023. 6. CONSENT AGENDA A. Set a date (1-18-24) for a public hearing on Ordinance #O23-09-18, amending the Zoning Code relative to Recreational Vehicles (RV’s) in nonconforming Mobile Home Parks. B. Consider on first reading correction of a typographical error on Ordinance #O23-11-21, amending Title 18, Chapter 1 of the Cookeville Municipal Code relative to water connection charges – Water Quality Control Department. C. Consider declaring as surplus vehicles and equipment – Public Works Department. 7. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS AND ACTION ITEMS A. Hold a public hearing and consider on first reading Ordinance #O23- 11-22, to rezone property located at 2210 Fisk Road (Tax Map 040-D, Group A, Parcel 006.00) from RM-8 (Multi-Family Residential) to CI (Commercial-Industrial Mixed Use). SPONSOR – JON WARD B. Hold a public hearing and consider on first reading Ordinance #O23- 11-23, to appeal the Planning Commission’s action at the September 25th, 2023 meeting to deny a request to install an additional on- premise sign, amending Ordinance #O18-12-32, that rezoned property located on East 10th Street and North Old Kentucky Road from RS-10, “Single Family Residential” to PCD, “Planned Commercial Development” and established limitations on signage. SPONSOR – JON WARD C. Consider on first reading Ordinance #023-12-24, abolishing the Departments of Gas and Electric, creating a new Department of Energy which shall include the Divisions of Electric and Gas. SPONSOR - JAMES MILLS D. Consider approval to purchase vehicle servicing utilizing Statewide Contract #207 - all City Departments. SPONSOR-JAMES MILLS E. Consider Resolution #R23-12-18, authorizing the participation in the Public Entity Partners “Property Conservation” Matching Grant Program – Human Resources Department. SPONSOR – CARL SELLS F. Consider Resolution #R23-12-19, authorizing the participation in the Public Entity Partners “James L. Richardson Driver Safety” Matching Grant Program – Human Resources Department.
