COOKEVILLE HISTORIC ZONING COMMISSION APRIL 9, 2002 5:30 P.M. The Cookeville Historical Commission met on Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 45 East Broad Street, Cookeville, TN 38501. MEMBERS PRESENT: Don Prince, Greg Stamps, Calvin Dickinson, and Alma Anderson. MEMBERS ABSENT: Eunetta Jenkins. STAFF PRESENT: James Mills and Jayne Barns. OTHERS PRESENT: None. CONSIDER FOR APPROVAL THE MINUTES OF MARCH 12, 2002. Alma Anderson made the motion to approve the minutes of March 12, 2002. Calvin Dickinson seconded the motion and the motion carried unanimously. APPROVED. CONSIDER FOR APPROVAL PROPOSED GUIDELINES FOR NORTH DIXIE AVENUE. James Mills stated that additional revisions, based on comments received from Marcia Donovan and David Hume, have been completed to the proposed Design Guidelines for the North Dixie Historic District. Staff reviewed these revisions at the April 9, 2002 meeting. The Planning Department has received no additional comments from property owners concerning the proposed Design Guidelines. A total of 4 negative comments have been received since the proposed Guidelines were originally provided to the property owners. Staff recommended approval of the Design Guidelines. Greg Stamps made the motion to approve the Design Guidelines for North Dixie Avenue. Calvin Dickinson seconded the motion and the motion carried unanimously. APPROVED. STAFF REPORT.
