Monday, November 7, 2022 6:30 PM 255 Parkway Blvd.
2nd Floor Conference Room
Notice is hereby given that the Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Coppell,
Texas, met in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
As authorized by Section 551.127, of the Texas Government Code, one or more
appointed board member or employees may attend this meeting remotely using
videoconferencing technology.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items:
Regular Session (Open to the Public)
1. Call To Order
Chair Guignon called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
Members present:
Ed Guignon, Nick Paschal, Mary Arnold, Maheshika Ratnayake, Maureen
Corcoran, Zainab Tinwala, Jeff Roller, Sidarth Shenoy, Rhythm Khandelwal
Staff present:
Jessica Carpenter, Cecilia Gandara, Meagan Wolfe, Sheri Belmont, David
Ellison, Adam Richter, Lauren Rodriguez, Lindsay Dobson, Garrett Gough,
Trinity Klepzig
2. Citizens' Forum
George Piroumoff, 1721 E. Beltline Road, expressed his interest for an indoor
pickleball facility.
Jeffrey Wysocki, 314 Walnut Grove Lane, expressed his interest for an indoor
pickleball facility.
Jack Henderson, 617 Pheasant Lane, expressed his interest for an indoor
pickleball facility.
3. Annual update by the Coppell Girls Softball Association
Tom Hargrove updated the Board on current and upcoming activities of the
Coppell Girls Softball Association.
4. Annual update by the Coppell Lacrosse Association

Jeff Sullivan, High School Program Director, gave an update on current
activities of the Coppell Lacrosse Association.
5. Manager's Update - Lauren Rodriguez, The CORE Manager
Lauren Rodriguez, The CORE Manager, along with Lindsay Dobson, Garrett
Gough and Trinity Klepzig gave a presentation in regards to the various
programs and activities at The CORE.
6. Consider approval of minutes: October 3, 2022
A motion was made by Boardmember Ratnayake, seconded by Boardmember
Corcoran, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by a
unanimous vote.
7. Youth Advisor's Report
Youth Advisor Sidarth Shenoy informed the Board that the teens need more
volunteer opportunities.
8. Director’s Report
Director Jessica Carpenter updated the board on upcoming events and status
of current projects.
9. Chair Report
A. Future Agenda Items
Nothing to report.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Parks and Recreation
Board, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm.
