I.-I. 17-6523 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Public Works Director, upon
consultation with the Chief Procurement Officer, to authorize the City Manager and the
City Attorney to negotiate and execute a Pre-Construction Services Agreement for the
Pre-Construction Phase of the Public Safety Building Project, pursuant to Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) 2017.06.YG, in an amount not-to-exceed $275,000, which will be
generally consistent with the terms of the agreement in the attached form, with any
modifications the City Manager and City Attorney deem appropriate in the public interest;
whereby said approval of a not-to-exceed amount does not indicate a determination of the
final contract amount, but rather the City Manager and City Attorney are encouraged to
negotiate a lower amount in the best interest of the city and that is fair, competitive, and
reasonable.

All individuals desiring to give testimony shall be sworn in. Presentations made to the
City Commission are subject to the City’s False Claims Ordinance, Ch. 39 of the City of
Coral Gables Code.
Anyone who wishes to address the City Commission on an item to be considered for

I.-I. 17-6523 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Public Works Director, upon
consultation with the Chief Procurement Officer, to authorize the City Manager and the
City Attorney to negotiate and execute a Pre-Construction Services Agreement for the
Pre-Construction Phase of the Public Safety Building Project, pursuant to Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) 2017.06.YG, in an amount not-to-exceed $275,000, which will be
generally consistent with the terms of the agreement in the attached form, with any
modifications the City Manager and City Attorney deem appropriate in the public interest;
whereby said approval of a not-to-exceed amount does not indicate a determination of the
final contract amount, but rather the City Manager and City Attorney are encouraged to
negotiate a lower amount in the best interest of the city and that is fair, competitive, and
reasonable.

litigation styled City of Coral Gables v. Instagram LLC and Facebook Miami, Inc ., Case
No. 17-017450-CA-01. This session may be attended by the following individuals: Mayor
