Sam called the meeting to order at 5:06 pm 2. Previous Meeting Minutes Approved by: approved by Tai, seconded by Sam 3. Old Business a. Hold Election for CPAAC Interim leadership positions i. Tai Rogers - Chair ii. Sasha Steinberg - Vice Chair iii. Samantha Combs - Secretary iv. Erik Quiroz - Treasurer b. Anne Beach - Mural submission materials from Mancos CD. i. Brief Discussion on paint swatches, how is surface prepped in the agreement ii. Mural Pamphlet - Anne Beach to follow up with Becky/Jodie iii. Matt Josef to scout possible mural locations iv. recruiting artists from out of town artists on smaller budget (wheat paste) like an exterior wallpaper situation c. Skatepark Mural - update i. large concrete repairs so looking at August timeframe ii. LOR funding tabled iii. looking for new project manager, maybe Helen can help d. FB page - Tai has login now - table to next month i. CCA possibly to take it to reduce bureaucracy approval situation ii. discussion about marketing plan iii. Matt thinks only one person doing posts to avoid inconsistency iv. paid marketing position? Helen West indicates there is not a budget for this at this time. there is a new city position devoted to this e. 81321 Launch i. Erik Quiroz to meet with AJ Dillon and Brian about committee to approve stuff ii. Anne Beach will be on committee. 4. New Business a. MOU with Cultural Center - Erik doesn’t have any answers with Becky i. How much time will the AmeriCorps position be responsible for working towards community wide creative economic development? ii. Grant pass-through. iii. AmeriCorps sitting on the Arts Committee as the Cultural Center Liaison? iv. Erik and Becky to do MOU with CCA… v. Anne Beach volunteered to draft an MOU to help Becky Levy since she is preparing to move out of state b. Schedule meeting with Rotary re. Public Art Installation next to old Moose and Moore i. Bill wants us to meet out at his place ii. ad hoc iii.
