Third Thursday Update (Quiroz): committee has been updating the vendor sign up and fees for Third Thursday have been changed (increased slightly), Parks & Rec will help setup more i. If the Arts Committee would like to have a booth/activity - what do we want to do? 1. Info stations with arts events in the community – extend invite to arts in town 2. Coloring Book station 3. Sell coloring book? 4. Arts District Information – printing? ii. Who can help on which days? (Table for next month 1. June 20 2. July 18 (no Sascha) 3. August 15 4. September 19 c. Re-examine the goals for the Committee for the coming year, i.e. think about the Arts District benchmarks and strategize how to move forward. i. How do we prove “broad community buy in”? ii. Can anyone do the RTAP Phase 1 or does it have to be a paid employee? iii. Cortezartscommittee@cortezco.gov – do we have that? Marchbanks/Aaron??? iv. Structured steps to measure progress in creative districts 6. Update from Committee Members: - Ellis (Jones) McNichol: Community Event – Art show, Skate night/tamales/punk band from Mancos – Thursday April 25, 30 N Beech Street Warehouse, 5 – 8 PM 9 kids came to the Clay with Klara workshop on March 29th Ellis leaving Pinon Project at the end of April Squirrel Congress Ghost Tour tickets are LIVE – First Friday – all proceeds to go the Heritage Museum Thursday, Friday, 2 on Saturday KSJD – Erik Going to Fringe in June Theater is doing a bunch more movies (Zone of Interest on Friday, April 5 April 13 is doing a drag show Love Lies Bleeding – April 19 7.
