Economic Development Authority of Dacono Meeting Minutes Monday, June 10, 2019 Members Present Joe Baker Robin Dunlap Bobby Mauck Debbie Nasta Kathryn Wittman Kevin Plain Jackie Thomas Staff Present AJ Euckert, City Manager Valerie Taylor, City Clerk Jennifer Krieger, Secretary/Executive Director The meeting was called to order at 6:43pm. Approval of the April 8, 2019 Economic Development Authority of Dacono Meeting Minutes. Authority Member Baker moved to approve the April 8, 2019 minutes as presented. The vote was unanimous with Chairperson Nasta declaring the motion carried. General Business Consideration and approval of Resolution EDAD 19-02, commissioning a Blight Study for portions of the City of Dacono. Jeff Parker, with Hoffman Parker Wilson and Carberry, Special Counsel to EDAD, gave a summary of the current Urban Renewal Plan. He also gave an overview of the new laws recently passed by HB1348. Authority Member Wittman moved to approve Resolution EDAD 19-02, commissioning a Blight Study for portions of the City of Dacono. The vote was unanimous with Chairperson Nasta declaring the motion carried. Consideration and approval of Resolution EDAD 19-03, approving a proposal for professional services associated with Blight Study for portions of the City of Dacono, preparation of an Urban Renewal Plan and authorizing execution of an agreement. Jeff Parker, with Hoffman Parker Wilson and Carberry, Special Counsel to EDAD, gave brief report. Authority Member Wittman moved to approve Resolution EDAD 19-03, approving a proposal for professional services associated with Blight Study for portions of the City of Dacono, preparation of an Urban Renewal Plan and authorizing execution of an agreement. The vote was unanimous with Chairperson Nasta declaring the motion carried. Adjournment: With no further business to be discussed the meeting was adjourned at 7:06 pm.
