TOWN  of  DANE  –  Board  Meeting August  2,  2021  6:30pm Dane  Town  Hall  213  W  Main  St.  Dane  WI  53529 1.   Call  meeting  to  order  -­‐  meeting  called  to  order  at  6:30pm   2.   Agenda  Confirmation  -­‐  agenda  confirmed  no  changes   3.   Derrick  Babler  Driveway  permit  for  Hartman  Property  -­‐  it  will  be  a  shared  driveway  with  Lange   up  to  the  corner  then  to  the  left,  will  send  form  and  check  to  Angie.    George  made  a  motion  to   approve  the  driveway  permit,  Rich  seconded  the  motion,  motion  carried.     4.   Minutes  from  previous  meeting  held  on  July  5,  2021  -­‐  George  made  a  motion  to  accept  minutes   from  July  5th  2021,  Rich  seconded  the  motion,  motion  carried.   5.   Treasurer’s  report  will  be  presented  -­‐  Rich  made  a  motion  to  accept  the  treasurer  report  as   read,  George  seconded  the  motion,  motion  carried.     6.   Public  Input  No  Action  -­‐  Kendra  Tutsch  said  Lee  Rd  was  good.   7.   Public  Works  Report  -­‐  contacted  guy  on  Lee  Rd,  there  is  one  spot  to  fix,  haven't  heard  back  from   him  yet.   8.   Recycling  Committee  Report  -­‐  Wednesdays  have  been  busy,  Poles  are  up  for  two  cameras,   looking  at  different  systems  that  can  send  pictures  to  phone.   9.   Fire  District  Report  -­‐  met,  paid  bills,  discussed  contract.    Vienna  made  a  list  of  things  wanted,   their  attorney  made  changes,  but  it  wasn't  what  they  wanted  so  sent  back  to  their  attorney.     Told  them  we  need  to  see  what  they  want  to  determine  if  it  is  anything  that  can  be  negotiated.   10.  EMS  Report  -­‐  Waunakee  met,  paid  bills,  working  with  Middleton,  Cross  Plains  and  Lodi  to  set-­‐up   mutual  aide,  struggling  to  get  rules  to  set-­‐up.    Lodi  is  going  to  start  meetings  again.   11.  Discussion  on  solar  farms  and  solar  panels  -­‐  nothing  new  to  report.   12.  ARPA  Funds  and  Uses  of  Money    -­‐  nothing  to  report,  Angie  has  some  information.   13.  Open  Book  and  Board  of  Review  Dates  -­‐  have  not  heard  from  Steve  Mahlik  yet  with  dates.   14.  Correspondence  to  be  presented  -­‐  No  Action.   15.  Bills  to  be  paid  -­‐  Rich  made  a  motion  to  pay  the  bills,  George  seconded  the  motion,  motion   carried.   16.  Set  next  meeting  date  -­‐  September  2,  2021.       1)  Convene  to  Closed  Session  pursuant  to  WI  State  Statutes  19.5  (1)(c)  Considering  employment,     promotion,  compensation,  or  performance  evaluation  data  of  any  public  employee  over  which     the  governmental  body  has  jurisdiction  or  exercises  responsibility  regarding  Town  of  Dane     Personnel.    Roll  Call  -­‐  No  closed  session  held     2)  Reconvene  to  Open  Session  and  take  action  if  necessary.    Roll  Call  -­‐  No  closed  session  held     17.  Adjourn  -­‐  George  made  motion  at  7:45pm  to  adjourn  the  meeting,  Rich  seconded  the  motion,   motion  carried     Jana  Nolden-­‐Town  of  Dane  Treasurer
