TOWN  of  DANE-­‐Minutes   MONTHLY  BOARD  MEETING  OCTOBER  4th,  2021   6:30pm  at  Dane  Town  Hall      213  W  Main  St.  Dane  WI  53529   Attendance:  Kendra  Tutsch  (public)   MASKS  ARE  REQUIRED   Board:  Dave  Koenig  (chair),  Rich  Haag  (Supervisor)  George  Dorn  (Supervisor)   Angie  Volkman  (Clerk)  Jana  Nolden  (Treasurer)   1.   Call  meeting  to  order-­‐Meeting  was  called  to  order  by  Chair  Dave  Koenig  @  6:35pm   2.   Agenda  Confirmation-­‐agenda  confirmed,  no  changes   3.   Minutes  from  previous  meeting  September  13th,  2021  –  Motion  by  Rich  Haag,  second  by   George  Dorn  to  approve  minutes  from  9/13/2021  board  meeting.    Motion  carried   unanimously.   4.   Treasurer’s  report  will  be  presented  –  Motion  by  George  Dorn,  second  by  Rich  Haag  to   approve  the  treasurer  report  as  presented  and  read.    Motion  carried  unanimously.   5.   Public  Input-­‐Kendra  mentioned  that  the  public  works  did  a  good  job  mowing  on  Lee  Rd   6.   Public  Works  Report-­‐Town  of  Dane  hired  Stephen  Schoenberg  as  a  patrolman  with  a  start   date  of  9/29/2021.    Town  is  no  longer  using  Cintas  for  Uniforms  due  to  cost,  allowing  a   clothing  allowance  of  $500.00  and  a  boot  allowance  of  $100.    Motion  made  by  Dave  Rich   Haag,  second  by  George  Dorn  to  approve  clothing  allowances  for  both  patrolmen.    Motion   carried  unanimously.    Lodi-­‐Springfield  Rd  always  has  water  in  road  –  Dave  spoke  to  Brian   Schmidt  he  will  get  if  off  and  open  culvert  back  up.    Dave  is  going  to  reach  out  regarding   getting  rid  of  the  waste  oil.    Town  received  rebate  check  for  stain  of  $50  which  was   $10/gallon.    Town  of  Dane  is  purchasing  GC  for  Jerry  Petertzon  for  cutting  grass.   7.   Recycling  Committee  Report-­‐Transfer  Site  is  looking  clean   8.   Fire  District  Report-­‐Tabling  approval  of  contract  with  updates  until  Village  of  Dane  is  ready   9.   EMS  Report-­‐nothing  new     10.  Mower  Sale-­‐sold  for  $3475  with  WI  Surplus   11.  Board  of  Review      October  13,  2021  @  5:00  –  7:00pm   12.  Budget  WorkShop-­‐October  11  @  6:00pm   13.  Rezone  Permit  Application  for  Linda  Babler  &  Roger  Hartmann-­‐Motion  by  Dave  Koenig,   second  by  Rich  to  table  until  more  information  is  given.  Motion  carried  unanimously.    14.  2022-­‐2026  Equity  Appraisal  Contract-­‐Motion  by  George  Dorn,  second  by  Rich  Haag  to   approve  the  2022-­‐2026  Equity  Appraisal  Contract  for  the  Town  of  Dane.    Motion  carried   unanimously.   15.  Discussion  on  solar  farms  and  solar  panels-­‐Town  needs  to  look  into  Comprehensive  Plan   16.  Discussion  on  Comprehensive  Plan-­‐Discussions  occurred  at  the  WTA  discussing  amend  vs.   redo  whole  plan.  Discussed  having  a  special  meeting  with  attorney  regarding  solar  panels   and  solar  farms.   17.  ARPA  Funds  and  Uses  of  Money-­‐  Angie  continue  to  work  with  other  municipalities.    As  of   now,  a  lot  of  municipalities  waiting  until  after  the  new  year  and  focusing  on  budget  and   property  taxes.   18.  Correspondence  to  be  presented-­‐received  a  letter  from  Tim’s  Trucking  that  they  were   bought  by  Town  and  Country  Sanitation.   19.  Bills  to  be  paid  Motion  by  George  Dorn,  second  by  Rich  Haag  to  approve  the  bills.    Motion   carried  unanimously.   20.  Set  next  meeting  date-­‐November  1,  2021   21.  Adjourn-­‐Motion  by  George  Dorn,  second  by  Rich  Haag  to  adjourn.  Motion  carried   unanimously.
