2/7/2022 Minutes
Attendance: Dave Koenig (Chair), George Dorn (Supervisor 1), and Rich Haag (Supervisor 2)
Present: Jana Nolden (Treasurer)

The following agenda will be followed:
1. Call meeting to order - meeting called to order by Koenig at 6:35pm.
2. Agenda Confirmation- Agenda Confirmed.
3. Minutes from previous meeting - January 3, 2022 - Correction of Dave's name from George
Koenig to Dave Koenig. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve corrected minutes for
1/3/22 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Treasurer's report will be presented - Motion by Koenig, second by Haag to approve treasurer
report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Dane County Sheriff: Report for Town of Dane - Nothing new to report. The Village is
experiencing burglaries, recommends keeping house and vehicles locked.
6. Lodi School Board Representative for School Referendum - Presentation and handout on
proposed $5.98 million referendum for next five years, $3.85 million for operating expenses
and $2.13 million for maintenance and technology upgrades.
7. Public Input, No Action - N/A
8. Public Works Report - New brakes on the International.
9. Recycling Committee Report - Going well, referred those asking about Spring Clean-up to
website for information.
10. Fire District Report - paid bills, couple of trucks need minor repairs, nothing new on updating
bylaws.
11. EMS Report - Waunakee meeting held 1/13: call numbers have increased, looking at new
ambulance and hiring new paramedic. Lodi meeting held 1/20: looking at new ambulance
(currently using loaner due to accident last year), expenditures and staffing are good.
12. Sydney Hellenbrand - Zoning permit on Lodi-Springfield Rd. - Motion by Dorn, second by Haag
to approve zoning permit for Hellenbrand on Lodi-Springfield Rd. Motion carried
unanimously.
13. Glen Wipperfurth-Questions about building new home on Bitney Rd - would tear down current
home, what next steps are: contact Dane County Zoning.
14. Casey Howard-Driveway permit Mulcahy Rd - Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve
driveway permit for Howard on Mulcahy Rd. Motion carried unanimously.
15. Election Update - There will be training links and in person trainings. Elections: 2/15 Primary,
April election, August primary and November election.
16. Ordinance 2022-01 for Town of Dane to allow for selection of two or more sets of election
officials to work at different times on elections days. - Motion by Koenig, second by Dorn to
approve Ordinance 2022-01. Motion carried unanimously.
17. Resolution 2022-01 Authorizing the Town Clerk, Deputy Clerk or Designee to determine the
number of election officials that will be required to work at elections conducted in the Town of
Dane. - Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve Resolution 2022-01. Motion carried
unanimously.
18. Solar panels and Solar Farms - Nothing new on this.
19. Correspondence to be presented -No Action. - N/A
20. Bills to be paid. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve bills to be paid. Motion carried
unanimously.
21. Set next meeting date- March 7, 2022.
22. Adjourn. - Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to adjourn meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
