Town of Dane Minutes 10/10/2022 Attendance: Dave Koenig (Town of Dane Chair), George Dorn (Town of Dane Supervisor I), Rich Haag (Town of Dane Supervisor II), Angie Volkman (Town of Dane Clerk), Kendra Tutsch (resident), and David Smith 1. Call meeting to order. Meeting was called to order by Dave Koenig at 6:30pm. 2. Agenda Confirmation. Agenda Confirmed with No Changes. 3. Waunakee Schools Referendum Information. Unfortunately, Waunakee Schools was unable to attend our meeting due to meeting conflicts. 4. Sheriffs County Police Liaison Jody Hagar Update. Dane County Sheriff reported 21 calls and no signs of problems in the Town. 5. Minutes from previous meeting-September 12, 2022 & September 19, 2022. Motion by George, second by Rich to approve minutes from Sept 12th town meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Dave, second by George to approve the minutes from Sept 19th meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 6. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by George, second by Rich to approve the treasurer report as read. Motion carried unanimously. 7. Public Input. Kendra Tutsch asked the board a couple questions regarding the sealcoating projects going on in the Town. 8. Recycling Committee Report. Rich reported nothing new to report at this time. 9. Fire District Report. George reported that the Fire District went through the agenda, paid the bills, discussed setting up a truck funds account incase a new truck is needed and budget should be within cents of last year. 10. EMS Report. Rich reported nothing new to report at this time. 11. Election Update. Kendra reported Nov 8th is our Election with election voting from 7am-8pm. Kendra also reported that the County had an error on the ballot so we had to mail out that notification to all that were sent absentee ballots and make new voters going forward aware of the ballot error. Town of Dane is set for election workers for the day of the Election as well. 12. Public Works Report: Sealcoating. Dave reported that the sealcoating is all finished for the roads that were approved at the last meeting with using Scotts Construction to do the work and will be using the ARPA funds to fund the sealcoating. Angie was advised by Dave to send an invoice to Pertzborn for the little part of there road that we did at that time of which they are reimbursing the Town for. 13. Budget Meeting Worknight Date October 17 at 6:30pm. The Town board confirmed that Oct 17th at 6:30 works to hold the Budget 2023 Workshop. 14. Solar panels and Solar Farms. Dave reported that we will be having a speaker at our Feb 2023 meeting to discuss Solar Projects/Panels. 15. Correspondence to be presented. N/A 16. Bills to be paid. Motion by George, second by Dave to approve the bills. Motion carried unanimously. 17. Set next meeting date November 7, 2022, at 6:30 at Dane Town Hall. Confirmed. 18. Adjourn.
