12/5/2022 Minutes 1. Call Public Hearing to order. The public hearing was called to order at 6:32pm by Town of Dane Chair Dave Koenig. 2. Public Hearing for 2023 Operating Budget. The 2023 Operating Budget was presented. 3. Adjourn. Motion by George, second by Rich to adjourn at 6:37pm. Motion carried unanimously. 1. Call Special Meeting to order. The special meeting was called to order by Town of Dane Chair Dave Koenig at 6:37pm. 2. Special Meeting to adopt 2023 Town Levy. Kendra moved to adopt the levy of $313,109, Barb seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 3. Adjourn. Motion by Barb, second by Kendra to adjourn at 6:38pm. Motion carried unanimously. Town of Dane Monthly Board Meeting immediately following Special Meeting 1. Call Regular Board Meeting to order. The regular board meeting was called to order by Town of Dane Chair Dave Koenig. 2. Agenda Confirmation. Agenda was confirmed with no changes. 3. Minutes from previous meeting November 7, 2022. Motion by Rich, second by George to approve the Nov 7th, 2022, minutes. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by George, second by Rich to accept the treasurer report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Adopt 2023 Operating Budget and Levy. Motion by Rich to adopt & approve 2023 operating budget & levy, seconded by George. Motion carried unanimously. 6. Public Input. N/A 7. Public Works Report. Dave reported for the public works that the patrolmen are working on snow fence. 8. Recycling Committee Report. Rich reported that not much to report currently for the recycling transfer site. 9. Fire District Report. George reported that not much to report back regarding the fire district. The meeting was short, paid the bills and paid the firefighters. George also reported that they voted to keep old radios as everything that they have been trying to look at aren’t working and about $180,000 to change radios. 10. EMS Report. Rich reported that at the Waunakee meeting bills were paid, approved expenditure statement and that they are going through some restructure. Rich reported at the Lodi meeting that they approved the expenditure statement along with a new ambulance. Lodi is also doing maintenance on building and Rich also reported that both Waunakee and Lodi are working on budgets for 2023. 11. Dane County Ordinance Amendment for Approval to change Conditional Use Permits (CUP). Motion by Dave, second by George to approve the Dane County Ordinance Amendment to change CUP. Motion carried unanimously. 12. Set Caucus Date and time for April Elections. January 7th 2023 @ 10am @ Town Hall. 13. Election Dates for 2023. 2023 Election dates are 2/21/2023 and 4/4/2023. 14. Tax Collection Dates for 2022 Payable 2023. Jana reported the tax collection dates are as follows: 12/29/22-4-6pm, 12/31/22-8-11am, 1/28/2023 8-11am and 1/31/2023-4-6pm. 15. Correspondence to be presented-N/A 16. Bills to be paid. Motion by George, second by Rich to approve the bills to be paid. Motion carried unanimously. 17.
