4/3/2023 Minutes
Attendance: Keith Ripp (resident), Radley Ripp (resident) and Kendra Tutsch (resident)
1. Call meeting to order. The meeting was called to order by Dave Koenig at 6:30pm.
2. Proof of posting. Meeting was properly posted on 4/1/2023 at the Town Hall, Town Website, Post Office
and Dane Lumber.
3. Roll call. Dave Koenig, George Dorn and Richard Haag.
4. Addition or Corrections/Approval of Agenda. Koenig asked the board to move 16.1 after 6 since they are
present at the meeting. Board was ok with the adjustment to the agenda.
5. Approve minutes from the last regular board meeting. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve
minutes from 3/6/2023. Motion carried unanimously.
6. Treasurer Report. Jana presented and read the March 2023 treasurer report. Motion by Dorn, second by
Haag to approve the treasurer report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously.
7. Public Input- No Action. None
8. Election Update. Kendra Tutsch reported that the Town is all set for the April 2023 Election. The County
is doing a zoom at Noon regarding the forecasted weather. We did not have too many in-person absentee
voters this election and have received all mail out absentees back except a handful.
9. Public Works Report. Discuss Scott Construction will re-sealcoat Parts of Lodi-Springfield Rd, Fellows Rd., Lee
Rd and Pertzborn Rd. Koenig reported that Lodi-Springfield, Fellows and Lee Rd will get resealed because the oil
going down got ahead of the chipper and this is no charge to the Town of Dane.
10. Recycling Report. Spring Clean-Up: 5/6/2023 8am-12pm. Wednesdays for Summer: 5/10-9/27-2023 5-
6:30pm. Haag reported that he has a couple of helpers to help with Saturday 5/6/23 Spring Clean-Up.
Koenig reported that he is having signs made up also.
11. Fire District Report. Dorn reported that at the Fire District meeting bills were paid and discussed that some
of the radios have quit working but are getting by. Also reported that they are purchasing 12 new face
masks for the helmets at $330/each and 12 for next year.
12. EMS Report. Haag reported that Waunakee did not have a meeting due to weather and Haag could not
make the Lodi meeting.
13. Annual Town Meeting. 4/18/2023 6:30pm-Confirmed.
14. Open Book & Board of Review Dates. Volkman reached out to the assessor with an email regarding
getting the dates set.
15. Old Business. (The following items will be discussed and may have action taken on them.)
16. New Business. (The following items will be discussed and may have action on them.)
1. Keith & Lori Ripp – CSM & rezone for split. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve Ripp
CSM and rezone for spilt. Motion carried unanimously.
2. Ripp Dr. and Lodi-Springfield Rd Culvert Installation. Koenig reported that prices came in better than
MSA predicted. We have 4 quotes but haven’t checked around for financing. Motion by Dorn,
second by Haag to pursue bidding for the financing. Motion carried unanimously.
17. Correspondence to be presented – No Action to be taken. Tri-County sent updated price sheet.
18. Bills to be paid. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to pay the bills. Motion carried unanimously.
19. Set next meeting date. May 1st, 2023. Confirmed.
20. Adjourn. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
