6/5/2023 Minutes
Attendance: Jana Nolden (treasurer), Kendra Tutsch (resident), Mr. Baker (resident), Chris & Connie
Statz (residents), Kevin & Barb Taylor (residents), Dennis Kohlmeyer (resident), Rikki & Ben Baker
(residents), and Paul & Nancy Roth (residents).
1. Call meeting to order. The meeting was called to order by Dave Koenig at 6:30pm.
2. Agenda Confirmation. Agenda confirmed by board with no adjustments.
3. Minutes from previous meeting-May 1, 2023. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve
the minutes from 5/1/2023. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Jana presented and read the May 2023 treasurer report.
Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve the treasurer report as presented and read.
Motion carried unanimously.
5. Public Input. Mr Baker wants to combine 2 lots into one for shed, needs to go in front of
Dane County Zoning to get rezoned.
6. Public Works Report: Re-sealcoat Parts of Lodi-Springfield Rd, Fellows Rd., Lee Rd. and
Pertzborn Rd. Bid to Clemens Excavating for 2 culverts, would get loan from DMB for it.
7. Recycling Committee Report: Spring Clean-up went well, turned a few people away that
were not Town residents
8. Fire District Report. Dorn reported that at the Fire District meeting bills were paid and
they elected officers. The digital radios the County wants districts to have are not working,
going back to 8 mhz radios for now and going to put up more towers.
9. EMS Report. Haag reported that Waunakee approved the expenditure statement, the audit
completed on March 14th was good, it will take 18-24 months to build new ambulance, Dane
Fire is being trained on narcan like drug. Lodi meeting was cancelled twice.
10. Joe Ripp Quarry: talked to attorney Paul Johnson from Boardman and Clark and he
suggested have a special meeting to discuss options with him on 6/19/23 at 6:30pm. He
wants us to have our engineer look at erosion plan and water control. Suggested not to
proceed unless Ripps/Tri-County agree to pay for attorney and engineering fees. He will give
his recommendations and concerns with the plan at the 6/19 special meeting.
11. Change Financial Institution for Town of Dane finances: Motion made by Dorn, second by
Haag to change fiancial institutions to DMB. Motion carried unanimously.
12. Ryan Stoltenberg Driveway permit: Motion made by Haag, second by Dorn to approve
the driveway permit for Ryan Stoltenberg. Motion carried unanimously.
13. New Business: Farmers planting cor right up to the road, put on agenda next month to discuss
if mowing down.
14. Correspondence to be presented N/A
15. Bills to be paid. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to pay the bills. Motion carried
unanimously.
16. Set next meeting date-July 3, 2023. Confirmed.
17. Adjourn- Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried
unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:03pm.
