4/8/2024 Minutes Attendance: Residents: Kendra Tutsch, Bill & Deb Glenn Board: Dave Koenig, George Dorn, Rich Haag Jana Nolden-Treasurer, Angie Volkman-Cleark 1. Call Regular Board Meeting to order. The regular Town of Dane Board Meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by Dave Koenig, Town of Dane Chair. 2. Agenda Confirmation. The agenda was confirmed with no changes. 3. Minutes from previous meeting: February 5, 2024 & March 4, 2024. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve minutes from 2/5/24 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve minutes from 3/4/2024. Motion carried unanimously. 4. TOWN TREASURER REPORT. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to accept the treasurer report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Public Input. None. 6. PUBLIC WORKS REPORT: Koenig reported that the John Deere was up to Sauk again to get repairs. Mentioned also was a tree that needs attention, and it is on Craig’s list to get to. Culvert preparation is starting. 7. RECYCLING COMMITTEE REPORT. Haag reported that the transfer site looked good. May 4th is the clean-up day. May 8th will be the first Wednesday collection. 8. FIRE DISTRICT REPORT. Dorn reported that the Chief was unable to attend so not much occurred and that bills were paid. 9. Election Update: April election went well with a turnout of 38% of our 616 registered voters. Craig was very helpful all day and helped with shoveling. Our next elections are 8/13/24 and 11/5/2024. 10. EMS REPORT. Haag reported that the Waunakee EMS met on 3/14/2024 with 2 FT positions filled, 112 people went through CPR training, paid the bills, and approved expenditure statement. Waunakee is looking into a new billing system. The annual audit went well also. Lodi EMS did not have a meeting as there was no quorum and it was too late to reschedule. 11. Appoint Barb Schmitt Auditor for 3 years. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to appoint Barb Schmitt. Motion carried unanimously. 12. Eric Johnson Rezoning Petition 12012. Motion by Koenig, second by Haag to approve petition 12012 for the rezone of 7872 Kruchten Rd. Motion carried unanimously. 13. William and Debra Glenn Rezone 7872 Kruchten Rd. Motion by Koenig, second by Dorn to approve zoning change CSM. Motion carried unanimously. 14. Field Driveway permits for Dan Schmitt. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve all 3 driveway permits. Motion carried unanimously. 15. Set Annual Meeting Date April 16, 2024, at 6:30pm. Confirmed. 16. Open Book Date. 4/30/2024 4-6pm 17. Board of Review Possible dates. 5/15/2024 4-6pm 18. CORRESPONDENCE. None 19. Bills to be paid. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve the bills. Motion carried unanimously. 20. Set next meeting date May 6, 2024. Confirmed 21. Roll Call to go into Closed Session. Motion by Koenig, second by Dorn to go into closed session. Motion carried unanimously. Convene to Closed Session pursuant to WI State Statutes 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility regarding Town of Dane Personnel. 23. Motion to close Closed Session Meeting-Roll Call. Motion by Koenig, second by Haag to come out of session. Motion carried unanimously. Roll Call: Dave Koenig-Yes, Geroge Dorn-Yes, Rich Haag-Yes. 24.
