5/6/2024 Minutes 1. Call meeting to order. Meeting was called to order by Dave Koenig, Town of Dane Chair. 2. Agenda Confirmation. Agenda Confirmed. 3. Minutes from previous meeting: April 8, 2024. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve minutes from 4/8/2024 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to accept the Treasurer’s Report as presented. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Public Input. N/A 6. Public Works Report: a. Discussion for culverts and sealcoating. Town of Dane has about 8 culverts that need replacement. Need to go look at them – Brereton Rd, Lodi Springfield Rd, and Lee Rd and to get some pricing and get as many done as possible. Lavina Rd from Hyslop Rd to Ripp Dr need to get seal coated. Need to also get pricing on the seal coating and bring back to the next meeting. b. Discussion of increasing fines for non-compliance of building and driveway permits. Town of Dane is seeing driveways going in without driveway permits. Need to start enforcing fees for non-compliance. 7. Recycling Committee Report. Rich reported to the Board that the Spring Clean-Up went well. Wednesday nights 5-6:30 start this Wednesday, 5/15/2024 and goes through to the end of September. 8. Fire District Report. George Dorn reported to the Board that the Fire District met last Monday. At the meeting, truck maintenance was discussed, and bills were paid. 9. EMS Report. Rich reported that Waunakee met on April 7th. At that meeting, expenditure statement was approved, approved previous minutes, and discussed the coding/billing system. Lodi EMS did not meet. 10. William and Debra Glenn Rezone 7872 Kruchten Rd. Rezone was already approved at a previous meeting. 11. Board of Review May 15,2024. 5/15/2024 4-6pm 12. ATV/UTV-Discussion. The Town of Dane discussed adopting an Ordinance for allowing ATU/UTV on the Town of Dane roads. Representative Shelly Hacker with Roxbury Valley Rider spoke to the Board. Roxbury and Vienna municipalities have passed an Ordinance. The Town of Dane is going to hold a Special Meeting on 5/13/2024 at 5pm to review approved Ordinances and compose an Ordinance for the Town of Dane. 13. Correspondence to be presented: N/A 14. Bills to be paid. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to pay the bills. Motion carried unanimously. 15. Set next meeting date-June 3, 2024. 6/10/2024 at 6:30pm will be the next Town of Dane Regular Board Meeting. 16. Adjourn. Motion by Koenig, second by Haag to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
