6/10/2024 Minutes Attendance: Angie Volkman (Clerk), Jana Nolden (Treasurer) Dick Meier (PDS), Shelly Hacker (Roxbury), Jayme Goodwin (Vienna), Kendra Tutsch (Resident). Board: Dave Koenig, George Dorn, Richard Haag 1. Call meeting to order. Meeting was called to order by Dave Koenig, Town of Dane Chair. 2. Agenda Confirmation. Dave asked the Board if we could move item #10 after #5. Agenda Confirmed. 3. Approve minutes from previous meeting: May 6, 2024. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve minutes from 5/6/2024 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Approve special minutes from special meeting 5/13/24. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve minutes from 5/13/2024 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to accept the Treasurer’s Report as presented. Motion carried unanimously. 6. ATV/UTV: Discussion on Ordinance for ATV/UTV-possible action. The Board met on 5/13/2024 and read through other neighboring ordinances on ATV/UTV. Dave had started an ordinance and emailed that out to the Board before the meeting for discussion/recommendations. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve Ordinance 2024-1 after the attorney reviews and approves. Motion carried unanimously. 7. Public Input. Kendra Tutsch thanked the Board for the tree removal on Fellows Rd. 8. Public Works Report: Dave reported to the Board that Craig has been focusing on trees down due to storms and mowing. Dave also mentioned that no bids have come in for digging out ditches. 9. Recycling Committee Report. Rich reported that the transfer site looks good. We is working on better signage for placement of trash – “metal only” and “garbage only”. 10. Fire District Report. George Dorn reported to the Board that the Fire District was supposed to meet but unfortunately due to no quorum, no meeting occurred. 11. EMS Report. Rich reported that Waunakee met on May 9th. At that meeting, expenditure statement was approved, approved previous minutes, and discussed the cot scale. Rich reported that all EMS are working with Medicare regarding how they pay for ambulances. Waunakee EMS also discussed a new billing company. Lodi EMS was supposed to have the meeting on the 3rd Thursday and did not have the meeting. On 5/30/24, EMS and Fire met regarding emergency management set up but Rich was not able to attend. Angie told the board that she is working with EMS and Fire getting certifications needed to complete the Maintenance of Effort (MOE) for the Town by 7/1/2024. Not filling the MOE will result in a % loss in our aids. 12. Correspondence to be presented. None 13. Bills to be paid. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve the bills.
