01/06/2025 Minutes Attendance: Nancy Roth, Seth & Katrina Radl, Bill Wipperfurth, and Kendra Tutsch (all residents) Board Members: Dave Koenig, George Dorn & Rich Haag Jana Nolden – Treasurer, Angie Volkman-Clerk 1. Call meeting to order. Dave Koenig, Town Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:20pm. 2. Agenda Confirmation. Dave Koenig confirmed there are no changes to the agenda. 3. Minutes from the previous meeting: December 2, 2024. Motion by Dave Koenig, second by Rich Haag to approve the minutes from the meeting held on 12/2/2024. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Minutes from the Special meeting: December 2, 2024. Motion by Rich Haag, second by Dave Koenig to approve the minutes from the special meeting held on 12/2/2024. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by Dave Koenig, second by Rich Haag to approve the treasurer's report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously. 6. Public Input-No Action. Nancy Roth asked the board where we were at with updating the Comprehensive Plan and Dave noted at this time, we are not interested in updating. 7. Public Works Report. Dave Koenig noted that the truck needed some repairs and trees were taken care of on Lavina Rd and Goeden Rd. 8. Recycling Committee Report. Rich Haag did not have much more to report on the Recycling/Transfer Site. Rich also noted that the Spring Clean-Up will be on Saturday 5/3/2025 during normal Saturday hours at the Transfer Site. Kendra will upload onto the website what is being taken along with prices. 9. Fire District Report. George Dorn noted that at the Fire District meeting bills were paid and not much else to report back to the board. 10. EMS Report. Rich Haag mentioned that Waunakee EMS meeting was supposed to meet on 1/12/2024 but was cancelled due to no quorum. Lodi was supposed to meet on 12/23/2025 but met on 12/26/2024 but Rich was unable to make that meeting. 11. Driveway permit for Seth & Katrina Radl (parcel # 022/0908-121-8010-0) on Bonetti Rd. Katrina and Seth Radl have 3.6 acres located on Bonetti Rd and that is zone buildable. Dave Koenig will go out and measure the sight lines to ensure driveway placement is acceptable to the Town of Dane. Dave knows the area well and doesn’t think where the driveway is going should be an issue. Motion by Rich Haag, second by Geroge Dorn to approve the driveway permit tentatively. Once viewed, if the sight lines are not acceptable, the driveway permit will be brought back for modifications. Motion carried unanimously. 12. Building Permit Inspection Fees. Motion by George Dorn, second by Rich Haag to move forward with updating and increasing the Town of Dane’s building inspector fees as suggested by SAFEbuilt. Motion carried unanimously. Kendra will upload the new rates on our website. 13. Building Permits Contract. 2013 was the Town of Dane’s last contract signed with SAFEbuilt. Motion by George Dorn, second by Rich Haag to have Angie Volkman sign SAFEbuilt contract and send back to SAFEbuilt. Motion carried unanimously. 14. Town Right of Ways. Motion by Rich Haag, second by Geroge Dorn to approve Ordinance 2025-1 Town Right-of-Ways. Angie Volkman will send to the paper for publishing, Kendra will upload it to the Town website and once published, the Ordinance is effective. Motion carried unanimously, 15. Dane County Zoning Ordinance Amendment #23 CUP Process. Dave mentioned that the WTA meeting held on 1/15/2025 is talking more about Act 67. Dave would like to put this item back on the agenda for February to discuss further after getting more information on it. February 27 is the Dane County Zoning Meeting. 16. Correspondence to be presented-No Action. None 17. Bills to be paid. Motion by Rich Haag, second by Geroge Dorn to approve the bills. Motion carried unanimously. 18. Set next meeting date February 3, 2025. Confirmed 2/3/2025 at 6:00 p.m. 19. Adjourn. Motion by George Dorn, second by Rich Haag to adjourn the meeting at 7:01 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
