CITY OF DARLINGTON COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
DECEMBER 19, 2024
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:00 PM. The Pledge of
Allegiance was then recited. Present at roll call were: Kerry Black, Joe Boll, Cindy Corley, Dave
Roelli, John Sonsalla, and Steve Pickett. Absent: None. Also present were: Julie Westemeier,
Shannon Mundt, Duane Wepking all with Burbach Aquatics, Inc, Attorney Aaron Stauffacher and
Amy Johnson.
Motion by Pickett, seconded by Roelli that the meeting notice and agenda were properly
posted. Motion carried.
Motion by Roelli second by Sonsalla to go into closed session in accordance with Section
19.85 (1) (e) Wis. Stats., to consider an amendment to an agreement with Burbach Aquatics, Inc.
Roll Call Vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.
Motion by Roelli second by Sonsalla to reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section
19.85 (2) Wis. Stats., to take action if necessary, concerning an amendment to the agreement from
Burbach Aquatics, Inc.; and to adjourn the meeting. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.
There being no further business for this meeting, motion by Roelli seconded by Corley to
adjourn the meeting at 7:00 PM. Motion carried.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the Common
Council of the City of Darlington is called by the Mayor to be held on Thursday, December
19, 2024, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Room, at the Darlington Municipal Building, for the
purpose of:
1. Call to order by presiding officer.
2. Roll call.
3. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
The Council will go into closed session in accordance with Section 19.85 (1) (e)
Wis. Stats., to consider an amendment to an agreement from Burbach Aquatics,
Inc.
The Council will reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section 19.85
(2) Wis. Stats., to take action if necessary, concerning an amendment to an
agreement from Burbach Aquatics, Inc.; and adjourn the meeting.
4. Adjourn the meeting.
