PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES SEPTEMBER 2, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:30 PM. Present at roll call were: Dave Roelli, Mayor McDermott, Jeff McCarthy, and Joe Boll. Absent: Fritz Hanewall and Kyle McCarville. Also present were: Larry Burns, Jesse Westerman, Kerry Black, Kim Winslow, Cindy Corley, Attorney Aaron Stauffacher, John Sonsalla, and Amy Johnson. Motion by Roelli, seconded by McCarthy that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Boll, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried. Steve Pickett arrived at 6:32 PM. Under unfinished or deferred business, discussion was held concerning the proposed sign request from Furst Staffing for their business located at 336 Main Street. Copies of the proposed sign/decal design and the Darlington Chamber/Main Street Building Façade Application approved by the Chamber Director, Jesse Westerman, were included in the agenda packet. After review and consideration, motion by McCarthy, seconded by Boll, to accept proposed sign and building façade request for the building located at 336 Main Street as presented. Motion carried. Discussion was then held concerning a certified survey map for Larry Burns for his property located at 1040 Main Street in the City of Darlington. A copy of the certified survey map was included in the agenda packet. After discussion and consideration, motion by Roelli, seconded by McCarthy, to recommend to the Council the approval of the certified survey map from Larry Burns for his property located at 1040 Main Street as presented. Motion carried There being no further business for this meeting, motion by McCarthy, seconded by Roelli, to adjourn the meeting at 6:35 PM. Motion carried. CITY OF DARLINGTON Amy L.
