PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 6, 2026
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:30 PM. Present at roll call were:
Dave Roelli, Joe Boll, Dave Lindecker, Kyle McCarville, Fritz Hanewall, Phil Risseeuw, and Mayor
McDermott. Absent: None. Also present were: Kerry Black, John Sonsalla, Steve Pickett, Cindy Corley,
Kim Winslow, and Amy Johnson.
Motion by Roelli, seconded by Hanewall, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
Motion carried. Motion by Hanewall, seconded by Roelli, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
Motion carried.
Under new business, Mayor McDermott explained the purpose of the proposed TID #8 Amendment
is to add 58.92 acres to the TID #8. A representative from Vierbicher was unable to attend the meeting and
distribute the materials for review; therefore, no further discussion or action was taken on agenda items 7a
and 7b. A future meeting date was set for January 13, 2026, to discuss these items with a representative
from Vierbicher attending.
There being no further business for this meeting, motion by Hanewall, seconded by Roelli, to
adjourn the meeting at 6:45 PM. Motion carried.

2. Roll call.
3. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy
enclosed)
5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. (3-minute limit)
6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous Plan Commission meetings.
7. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and
Resolutions.
(a) Review draft TID No. 8 Amendment No. 2 Project Plan and Boundary Amendment.
(b) Set Public Hearing Date for TID No. 8 Amendment No. 2.
8. Adjourn the meeting.
