PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 13, 2026
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:30 PM. Present at roll call were:
Dave Roelli, Joe Boll, Dave Lindecker, Kyle McCarville, Fritz Hanewall, Phil Risseeuw, and Mayor
McDermott. Absent: None. Also present were: Kerry Black, John Sonsalla, Steve Pickett, Cindy Corley,
Kim Winslow, and Amy Johnson.
Motion by Boll, seconded by MCarville, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
Motion carried. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Risseeuw, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
Motion carried.
Under unfinished business, Andrew Kurtz of Vierbicher Associates attended the meeting to present
a draft TID No. 8 Amendment No. 2 Project Plan and Boundary Amendment. Copies of the proposed plan
amendment were included in the agenda packet. Andrew explained that the purpose of this amendment is
to add 58.92 acres to TID #8.
Discussion was then held concerning setting the Public Hearing date for TID #8 Amendment No. 1.
According to the schedule prepared by Andrew Kurtz and notice requirements, motion by Risseeuw,
seconded by Boll, to schedule the Public Hearing for Tuesday, February 3, 2026, beginning at 6:30 PM.
Motion carried.
There being no further business for this meeting, motion by Boll, seconded by McCarville, to
adjourn the meeting at 7:15 PM. Motion carried.

enclosed)
5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. (3-minute limit)
6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous Plan Commission meetings.
(a) Review draft TID No. 8 Amendment No. 2 Project Plan and Boundary Amendment.
(b) Set Public Hearing Date for TID No. 8 Amendment No. 2.
7. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and
Resolutions.
8. Adjourn the meeting.
