WATER AND SEWER COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 20, 2026
The meeting was called to order by Alderperson Steve Pickett at 6:45 PM. Present at roll
call were: Kerry Black, Dave Roelli, Joe Boll, Cindy Corley, and Steve Pickett. Absent: John
Sonsalla. Also present were: Mayor McDermott, Dave Lindecker, Attorney Aaron Stauffacher,
Sarah Lundy, Matt O’Brien, and Amy Johnson.
Motion by Roelli, seconded by Sonsalla, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly
posted. Motion carried. Motion by Sonsalla, seconded by Black, to approve the minutes of the
previous meeting. Motion carried.
Under new business, discussion was held concerning bids received for purchasing a new
Sewer Department vehicle. Seven bids were received from three different dealerships.
• Runde Auto Group
o 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 - $39,735.00
• Virtue Motors
o 2026 Ram 2500 Tradesman 4x4 - $41,166.50
o 2026 Ram 1500 Tradesman 4x4 - $41,340.50
o 2026 Ford F-150 4x4 XL - $39,000.18
• Kunes
o 2025 Ram 2500 - $44,447.50
o 2025 Ram 1500 - $44,575.50
After discussion and consideration, motion by Roelli, seconded by Black, to approve
purchasing the 2026 Ford F-150 4x4 XL from Virtues Motors for the price of $39,000.18 with a
seven-year warranty not to exceed the cost of $4,200.00, for the total approved amount of
$43,200.18. Motion carried.
There being no further business, motion by Roelli, seconded by Boll, to adjourn the
meeting at 6:52 PM. Motion carried.

4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy
enclosed)
5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present.
6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous committee meetings.
7. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and
Resolutions.
(a) Discussion and action, if necessary, concerning bids for purchasing a sewer department
vehicle.
8. Adjourn the meeting.
