Medical Transport Background: Provide update on medical transport and solicit commission comments. Chief Snyder to provide update and answer questions. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Time permitted, public comment shall be permitted at the end of agenda items only and shall not exceed two minutes. B. Discussion re: Parking in Front Yard and Driveway Extensions - Dale Baker, Deputy City Manager (386) 878-8852. Strategic Goal: Strengthen Code Enforcement and focus on the City’s Beautification Program Background: At the January 8, 2018 Commission Workshop the Commission ask to place driveway extension on a future workshop. Currently no vehicle may be parked in the front yard except on the approved driveway or driveway extension. I’ve attached a memo with pictures of driveway extensions. I also copied the original ordinance 26-2001 which first addressed driveway extensions. In the 2001 ordinance we did not allow parking spaces to be located directly in front of the principal structure. Additionally, in City of Deltona Page 1 Printed on 2/8/2018 City Commission Workshop Agenda February 12, 2018 ordinance 28-2001 we also required the parking spaces to be permitted and a plot plan attached.
