1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 9:04 am.
2. ROLL CALL:
Also present: Kathrine Kyp, Planning and Development Services; Ron Paradise,
Planning and Development Services, Jerry Mayes, Economic Development, Jane
Shang, City Manager; Steve Cockerham, Neel-Schaffer; Brandon Simpson,
Neel-Scaffer; George Roman and Phil Bullis.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES & AGENDA:
A. Minutes of July 6, 2017.
Motion by Steve Roland, seconded by Leigh Grosvenor, to approve the
Minutes of July 6, 2017. The motion carried by the following vote:
For: 5 - Member Grosvenor, Member Roland, Member McGrath,
Member Doan and Member Wallace

Development Review Committee Minutes August 3, 2017
Member McGrath provided the Committee with a summary of 717 Fort Smith Blvd. He
noted there was a code enforcement case for lot clearing that is now in compliance.
Discussion occurred between Mr. Cockerham and staff regarding parking, parking
surfaces, pervious pavers and site plan application requirements. Member Wallace
noted that based on her research of the location, there is no stormwater infrastructure
on site. Discussion ensued regarding recent improvements at a nearby church. Member
Grosvenor requested widths of drive isles, directional areas and a WB40 turning radius
when plans are submitted. Discussion occurred regarding landscaping, site lighting,
permitting and parking.
