1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 9:03 am.
2. ROLL CALL:
Also present: Kathrine Kyp, Planning & Development Services; Jane Shang, City Manager;
Jerry Mayes, City Manager's Office; Carl Lynch, Building and Construction Services
Division; Eric Otte, Scherer Construction, Harry, Newkirk, Newkirk Engineering; and Travis
Lawhorne, The William Warren Group.
Present: 4 - Member Leigh Grosvenor

Absent: 2 - Member Steve Roland

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES & AGENDA:
A. Minutes of August 3, 2017.
Motion by Phyllis Wallace, seconded by Leigh Grosvenor, to accept
Minutes of August 3, 2017. The motion carried by the following vote:
For: 4 - Member Grosvenor, Member Bowley, Member McGrath and
Member Wallace

Discussion occurred between Member Grosvenor and Mr. Newkirk on the fire related
comments. Mr. Newkirk stated he will comply and satisfy the remaining comments and
resubmit ten (10) sets of plans.
Discussion amongst staff ensued regarding the development review process. Mr. Lawhorn
stated the review process was seamless and appreciated staff.
Motion by Scott McGrath, seconded by Leigh Grosvenor, to approve
with conditions StorQuest Final Site Plan application, (FSP17-006). The
motion carried by the following vote:
For: 4 - Member Grosvenor, Member Bowley, Member McGrath and
Member Wallace
