CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Herzberg. 2. ROLL CALL – CITY CLERK: Present: 7 - Mayor Herzberg Vice Mayor Avila-Vazquez Commissioner Bradford Commissioner King Commissioner McCool Commissioner Ramos Commissioner Sosa 3. PLEDGE TO THE FLAG: Mayor Herzberg led everyone in the pledge to the flag. 8. BUSINESS: Discussion re: Union Negotiations. i. Mayor announces the commencement of the Executive Session with an estimated length of up to one (1) hour. Mayor Herzberg stated the topic for discussion was the union negotiations and she announced the commencement of the Executive Session with an estimated length of up to one (1) hour. ii. Mayor announces the names of each Commissioner in attendance, the City Attorney and the Acting City Manager John A. Peters, III, P.E. Mayor Herzberg announced that each Commissioner was in attendance with the exception of Commissioner Sosa. Also present was the Deputy City Manager and City Attorney. Mayor announces the names of the City's negotiating team in attendance Deputy City Manager Stacey Kifolo, Consultant John O'Grady, Consultant Fire Chief Chris Dowaliby, and Attorney Wayne Helsby. Mayor Herzberg announced the members of the City's negotiating team that were in attendance to include the Deputy City Manager and via WebEx Attorney Wayne Helsby. iv. Mayor closes the session to the public. Mayor Herzberg closed the Executive Session to the public at 5:05 p.m. and she asked that anyone's name she did not call, to exit the room at this time. The Acting City Manager entered the meeting at 5:06 p.m. v. Discussion re: the proposed Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the City and I.A.F.F., Local 2913 (Firefighters Union). vi. Mayor announces termination of Executive Session. Mayor Herzberg announced the termination of the Executive Session. vii. Mayor reopens meeting and adjourns. Mayor Herzberg reopened the meeting to the public at 6:20 p.m. 14. CITY MANAGER COMMENTS: 16.
