Dee Williams stated she’s hearing a lot of nice compliments about volunteers who help on the Medicare Part D. RE: Prairie Rose. RE: Parking Lot. Eleanor Underwood stated a couple weeks ago there was really deep, red mud all the way to where the Red Cross unloads meals. Eleanor was going to complain to the City the company should have cleaned up their mess. Dee Williams stated she will pass on the information. Agenda Item #2 RE: Advisory Board Fund report for October 2014. Diane Schmitt reported expenses were $847.33, revenue $464.12 with an ending balance for October of $13,604.15. MOTION: Jim Burgess moved to receive and file the Advisory Board Fund report for October 2014. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #3 RE: Approve October 2014 Advisory Board Meeting minutes. Eleanor Underwood stated on her comment in the October minutes she and Diane Schmitt, had both been contacted by several people to ask if they could pass on their concerns, on getting 1 an instructor for the exercise classes. MOTION: Gerald Brownlee made a motion to approve the corrected minutes from October 2014. Tom Davidson seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #4 RE: Derby Dash Scholarship Fund Report. Dee Williams reviewed the Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report she brought to the Boards attention the $500 that they donated to this fund bringing the balance to $614.33. MOTION: Duane Day moved to receive and file the October 2014 Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report. Diane Schmitt seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried Agenda Item #5 RE: Lunch Coupon Program. Dee Williams reminded the Board $100 was deposited to this program for future participants. Agenda Item #6 RE: TNT October – Mexican Taco Casserole. Tom Davidson stated they served a total of 71 people with a profit of $167.01. RE: TNT November – Ham and Beans. Tom Davidson stated they served a total of 92 people with a profit of $326.71. Agenda Item #7 RE: Senior Center Sign Update. Dee Williams asked the Board if they noticed the name change on the front of the building to Senior Center. Jim Burgess said he also noticed the digital sign had the name change as well. Discussion was held. Agenda Item #8 RE: December DSC Advisory Board Meeting. 2 Dee Williams let the Board know in the past the Board voted to cancel the December DSC Advisory Board meeting. Discussion was held. MOTION: Duane Day made a motion the DSC Advisory Board meeting be canceled. Tom Davidson seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Tom Davidson made a motion for adjournment.
