March 4, 2015 CITY OF DERBY ROLL CALL GERALD BROWNLEE JIM BURGESS TOM DAVIDSON, SECRETARY JACK HEMPHIL DUANE DAY, VICE CHAIRMAN DIANE SCHMITT, TREASURER ELEANOR UNDERWOOD, CHAIRMAN CITY STAFF DEE WILLIAM KIM HART Public Forum Agenda Item #1. RE: DSC Annual Report. Dee reviewed the Senior Services 2014 Annual Report. Discussion was held. RE: Commissioner Howell. Discussion was held and it was decided to invite Commissioner Howell to a meeting to discuss Derby Senior Services. Agenda Item #2 RE: Advisory Board Fund report for February 2015. Diane Schmitt reported January revenue was $403.00 expenses were $476.66, with an ending balance for January of $14,102.33. MOTION: Gerald Brownlee moved to receive and file the Advisory Board Fund report for February 2015. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #3 RE: Approve February 2015 Advisory Board Meeting minutes. MOTION: Jim Burgess made a motion to approve the minutes from February 2015. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried. 1 Agenda Item #4 RE: Derby Dash Scholarship Fund Report. Dee Williams reviewed the Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report, $80 was used in February with a balance of $844.33. MOTION: Duane Day moved to receive and file the February 2015 Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report. Tom Davidson seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried Agenda Item #5 RE: TNT Ham & Beans. Tom Davidson stated there were 74 fed at the February TNT with a total profit of $204.16. RE: Chicken & Noodles. Tom Davidson stated there were 88 fed at the March TNT with a total profit of $276.80. Tom said the new refrigerator was very nice and discussion was held. Agenda Item #6 RE: Upcoming Vacancies on DSC Advisory Board. Dee Williams reminded the Board members whose terms were up the deadline was March 5th. Agenda Item #7 RE: DHS Senior Celebration. Dee Williams received a flyer about the DHS Senior Celebration. Dee explained the Board on a yearly basis, has donated $100 to the high school Senior Celebration promoting a safe, drug and alcohol free activity. MOTION: Gerald Brownlee made a motion for the Advisory Board to donate $100 to the Senior Celebration. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Gerald Brownlee made a motion for adjournment. Tom Davidson seconded.
