Dee introduced Kay Morgan to the Advisory Board members. Kay will be appointed to the DSC Advisory Board in April. RE: Disaster Preparedness. Dee Williams said on Monday March 30th she participated in a Disaster Preparedness Activity with the City of Derby. They worked on the relocation of meals and Derby Dash for medical appointments. RE: Car Fit Fair. Dee Williams stated the Car Fit Program will be held on Wednesday May 6th from 9:00 am to noon. The Derby Senior Center is partnering with the Department on Aging. Discussion was held. RE: Agenda Item #7. Dee Williams asked the Board to approve Agenda Item #7 After Prom Party. Tom Davidson moved to add Agenda Item #7 After Prom Party to the Agenda. Gerald Brownlee seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #2 RE: Advisory Board Fund report for March 2015. 1 Diane Schmitt reported January revenue was $688.00 expenses were $984.44, with an ending balance for January of $13,805.89. MOTION: Gerald Brownlee moved to receive and file the Advisory Board Fund report for March 2015. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #3 RE: Approve March 2015 Advisory Board Meeting minutes. MOTION: Jim Burgess made a motion to approve the minutes from March 2015. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #4 RE: Derby Dash Scholarship Fund Report. Dee Williams reviewed the Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report, $80 was used in March with a balance of $764.33. MOTION: Duane Day moved to receive and file the March 2015 Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report. Tom Davidson seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #5 RE: April 29th Advisory Board Meeting – Commissioner Howell. Dee Williams reviewed the information that will be presented to Commissioner Howell. Discussion was held. MOTION: Diane Schmitt made a motion that the May 6th DSC Advisory Board meeting should be moved to April 29th. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #6 RE: Fitness Equipment Repairs. Dee Williams stated three treadmills are in need of repairs and Mid-States Fitness Equipment provided an estimate of $1,484.20. Discussion was held. MOTION: Jim Burgess moved that the Advisory Board pay for repairs in the amount of $1,484.20. Tom Davidson seconded. 2 VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #7 RE: Derby Community Coalition Promoting Healthy Choices - After Prom Party. Dee Williams let the Advisory Board members know that she received information about the DCCPHC 2015 After Prom Party. Dee said in the past the Advisory Board donated $100. Discussion was held. MOTION: Tom Davidson made a motion for the Advisory Board to donate $100 to the DCCPHC After Prom Party. Gerald Brownlee seconded.
