APPROVED SUMMARY MINUTES SENIOR SERVICES ADVISORY BOARD 10:00 A.M. July 1, 2015 CITY OF DERBY ROLL CALL GERALD BROWNLEE JANICE NEAGLE JIM BURGESS DIANE SCHMITT, TREASURER TOM DAVIDSON, SECRETARY ELEANOR UNDERWOOD, CHAIRMAN DUANE DAY, VICE CHAIRMAN CITY STAFF DEE WILLIAMS KIM HART Public Forum Agenda Item #1 RE: Budget. Dee Williams stated the 2016 City Budget will be approved in August and the County DOA Budget is due on the 17th of July. Agenda Item #2 RE: Advisory Board Fund report for June 2015. Diane Schmitt gave the Advisory Board Fund report for June. The deposits totaled $482.50 and expenditures totaled $763.91 with an ending balance $12,888.35. MOTION: Jim Burgess moved to receive and file the Advisory Board Fund report for June. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #3 RE: Approve June 3, 2015 Advisory Board Meeting minutes. MOTION: Duane Day made a motion to approve the minutes from June 3, 2015. Tom Davidson seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #4 RE: Approve June 2015 Derby Dash Scholarship Report. Dee Williams gave the report for the June Derby Dash Scholarship Report. There was $100 used for scholarships in June, leaving an ending balance $624.33. 1 MOTION: Gerald Brownlee made a motion to approve the Derby Dash Scholarship Report for June 2015. Duane Day seconded. VOTE: 6 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #5 RE: June TNT. Tom Davidson reported on the June 2015 TNT. Lasagna was served and the total profit for June was $213.36. Agenda Item #6 RE: July 16th Board Sponsored Bingo. Dee informed the Board about “Nacho Ordinary Bingo”. Dee stated to date we have 60 participants signed up; beef nachos will be served with toppings and bingo will be played with prizes totaling $200. Agenda Item #7 RE: Quilt Sale. Duane Day reviewed the forms be used for volunteers helping with the Quilt raffle. Each Board member will sign up for a month in which they would be responsible for the volunteers and money. Agenda Item #8 RE: Accreditation. Dee Williams stated the first group Accreditation meetings will begin in August 5th at 9:00 A.M. before the Advisory Board meeting.
