Discussion was held. RE: Senior Center Funding Jim Burgess updated the Board on Senior Center Funding. Eleanor Underwood thanked Jim on behalf of the Advisory Board for his update. RE: DSC and DRC programing BreAnna let the Advisory Board know that she has been meeting with the DRC and they are working on some joint programs like the walking club and possible pool times. Agenda Item #2 RE: Advisory Board Fund Report October 2018. Diane Schmitt gave the report for October 2018. The expenses for October totaled $1,370.22 and the revenue totaled $773. with an ending balance $8922.51. MOTION: Duane Day made a motion to approve the Advisory Board Fund Report October 2018. Janice Neagle seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried Agenda Item #3 1 RE: Approve October 10, 2018 Minutes. MOTION: Jim Burgess made a motion to approve the October 10, 2018 Minutes. Tom Davidson seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried Agenda Item #4 RE: Approve October 2018 Derby Dash Scholarship Report BreAnna gave the October 2018 Derby Dash Scholarship Report. $24 were used for scholarships which leaves an ending balance of $131. BreAnna said the Derby Dash Lunch Scholarship Program used $0 for an ending balance of $494. MOTION: Duane Day made a motion to approve the Derby Dash Scholarship Report for October 2018. Diane Schmitt seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried Agenda Item #5 RE: TNT BreAnna said TNT was Turkey Pot Pie and expenses came to $130.15 total profit was $170.85, paying patrons were 50 with 6 volunteers for a total of 56 fed. Agenda Item #6 RE: Covered Dish December – Sliced Turkey and Sliced Ham – Janice Neagle Covered Dish January – Chicken – Jim Burgess Agenda Item #7 RE: Center Updates BreAnna said the Conference Room is complete with new paint and wallpaper. Agenda Item #8 RE: Advisory Board Shirts. BreAnna let the Advisory Board know she will be ordering shirts and needed their shirt sizes. Agenda Item #9 2 RE: Progressive Bingo BreAnna let the board know the proceeds from the October Progressive Bingo concessions came to $49.75. Agenda Item #10 RE: Suggestions / Comment Cards BreAnna stated there were no Suggestion/ Comment cards at these times. Agenda Item #11 RE: Fundraisers BreAnna presented the Board with a fundraising letter to review. Discussion was held. MOTION: Jim Burgess made a motion to proceed with the mailing of the donation letter. Janice Neagle seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried Agenda Item #12 RE: Estes Letter BreAnna gave the Board a copy of a letter from Representative Ron Estes which was in reply to a letter she sent inquiring about Senior Center Funding. ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Janice Neagle made a motion for adjournment. Diane Schmitt seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried.
