ZONING OFFICER’S REPORT BIU report for March 2023 - There is one Zoning Permit, no UCC, and one code enforcement violation for the month of March 2023 by BIU. CODE ENFORCEMENT REPORT COMMITTEE REPORTS Public Works – Buildings and Grounds –Still waiting for rough estimate regarding steam leak repair for upstairs hallway radiator and schedule date from Gregory and Martin. Police - Finance/Budget –. Zoning/UCC/Code – Zoning Hearing Board Appeal Summary forwarded to Council regarding 307 E. 1st Avenue request for variance. Parks and Recreation – Fire Protection – 1  Pool Committee – POS System and Internet, Quotes received for pool upgrades waiting for Adam’s additional items pricing. 3 Day passes will be given to Grandview Elementary for educational program. Grants – A response should be received in April regarding the CDBG application for paving in Third Ward. Lori, Barb, and Ben will be having a meeting upcoming to discuss the details of the summary/budget/specifics of the grant application for the pool. ANNOUNCEMENTS Derry Borough Council went into executive session at the Derry Council Worksession held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 8:00pm for personnel/legal discussion. Executive session ended at 8:05pm. PLANNING COMMISSION Occupancy Permit Ordinance Review REPRESENTATIVES  DARCee meeting 4th Weds 7pm monthly  Derry Area Historical Society – Board Meeting are held at the Fulton House on the 3rd Monday monthly at 6:30pm. (derryareahistory)  Derry Railroad Days Committee meets the 3rd Tuesday monthly at 6:30pm at AV Germano Hall (Alternative meeting place is the Fulton House in New Derry) Always looking for new members from Derry Borough!
