Human Relations Commission

Minutes from June 25, 2025 Meeting Attendance: Fred Stanczak, Chair, Freda Savana, John Fraser, Stephanie O'Mara, Stephen Albert, Christopher Baccash, Abby O'Mara. Stephanie O'Mara introduced new HRC member, and her daughter, Abby O'Mara. Stephen Albert provided HRC members with copies of the Innovative Learning GrantApplication that CB Cares Educational Foundation has submitted to fund an initiative to support a safe space classroom and to provide for activities for LGBTQ students. Christopher Baccash presented a description of the Doylestown Borough HRC Research Project proposal to HRC members. A detailed discussion was held regarding the proposal, with suggestions for moving forward with its development and implementation. The ideas/suggestions included the involvement of CB West student interns in the project, Stephanie's description of school clubs and how they may be involved or interested, and possible involvement with Doylestown Twp. Historical Society and ideas for promoting the project. Collaboration between the DBHRC and the Doylestown Township HRC was also discussed. Fred will contact the DTHRC Chair, Jacquelyn Kennedy and invite her and commission members to our meetings.
