Park and Recreation Board Meeting Minutes Tuesday, April 1, 2025 – 7:00 p.m. James Lannon, Doreen McVaugh, Bob Huether, Karissa Elser, Molly Crotty, and Caitlin Hernandez, Director of Parks and Recreation, were present. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. The minutes from the March 4, 2025, meeting were approved. Caitlin gave the Recreation Director's Report. Public Works is making headway on the Wood Street Park bocce court, and the Neis tennis court resurfacing project is scheduled for May. The restrooms for Broad Commons should be completed in April, and we have ordered wood carpeting for all the playgrounds. Yoga has been posted on the website, and advertising will start in April and May. Arts and Crafts registration will open to Borough residents on April 1 and will then be opened to non-Borough residents later. C&N Bank and Bozutto, the 333 N. Broad St. builders, are sponsoring the concert series. We still need to confirm the bands and begin advertising. The Council has authorized alcoholic beverage sales, and Artifact Brewing is booked. The Pump Track fundraiser has generated approximately $7,000, and we are in the design phase of the Green Street/Pebble Hill Road trail.
