MINUTES CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS FARMERS MARKET ASSOCIATION REGULAR MEETING Tuesday, September 10, 2013 10:00 a.m City Hall 511 Mercer Street Dripping Springs, Texas This facility is wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are available. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Marianne Simmons, Chair Gina Gillis Kambra Bolch Gouri Johannsen Sandy Pedrazas Vacancy Jo Ann Touchstone, Secretary Vacancy Marianne calls meeting to order at 10:04 a.m. All present. Also present Market Manager Carolyn Hodges. II. PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS Floor open to discussion on any subject. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to speak shall do so after being recognized by the Chair. The Chair may establish a time limit as necessary. No one speaks. III. MINUTES A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, August 13, 2013- Kambra motions to table. Sandy seconds. Motion passes, 5-0. IV. BUSINESS Discussion and Possible Action regarding: A. Special Events for 2013 Season – Fragrance Stinks will do an educational talk on Oct. 2nd. B. Review of 2013 Vendor Applications – No applications to review. Board discussed Cottage Food Law and what items we have and still need. C. Review of August & September Markets – Slow. School traffic back, but light. D. Amendments to 2013 Rules and Regulations – No actions. Board will review final draft and await comments from attorney to forward to Council for final approval. E. Fiscal Year 2014 Budget – Gina reviews final budget. F. Thanksgiving Day Market Date and Time – Jo Ann and Carolyn will survey vendors whether or not they can participate. G. Nomination for Board Vacancy – Kambra motions to nominate Aubrey Munguia to serve. Jo Ann seconds. Motion passes, 5-0. VI. ANNOUNCEMENTS A. Regular City Council Meeting, Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. B. Farmers Market Board Association Meeting, October 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. VII. ADJOURN Jo Ann motions to adjourn.
