Founder’s Day Commission
Monthly Meeting
October 21, 2013
Attending: A.J. Bergeron, Stephanie Holtzendorf, Paul Sanchez,
Brenda Medcalf, Steve Fornier.
Absent: Brad Thomas, Les Kubena, Jessica Freytag, Evan Taddia, Mark Treadway, Sharon Goss.
Call to Order: 7:15 pm by Brenda Medcalf
No Quorum present.
Minutes: Minutes of the September 5, 2014 meeting will be submitted for approval at the next
meeting.
Commissioners discussed:
• Arts and crafts booths expanding to Bluff and Wallace streets due to booth spaces being lost
due to Mercer Street Improvement Project.
• Michelle discussed Historic Preservation Commission being willing to take on the business
spaces from the Chamber and to have representatives on the Founders Day Commission.
• The beer tent is relocating across the street and will be accessible to the dance area and to
Mercer Street.
• With the new website the forms will be PDF files that can be filled out on-line and submitted.
• Steve discussed that a ‘Friends of Founders Day’ group is being assembled and will consist of
adult volunteers.
• Knights of Columbus have volunteered to handle the washer pitching tournament.

9. Sponsorship/Underwriting: Jessica, Geinger, Sharon
10. Sanitation: Paul and the at-large position when filled
