I. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Chairman Ted Lehr calls the meeting to order at 5:33 pm and takes roll call. Present:
Commissioner Ted Lehr, Chair; Commissioner Kathryn Chandler; Commissioner Charlie
Haydon; Commissioner John Holdridge; Commissioner John McIntosh, Vice Chair; and
Commissioner Linda Freeman. Absent: Commissioner Karl Seelbach. Also present is
City Administrator Michelle Fischer.
II. PRESENTATION BY CITIZENS-no one speaks.
III. CONSENT
Discussion and Possible action regarding:
A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, October 7, 2013
B. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, November 4, 2013
No action is taken on the minutes which have not been completed.
IV. BUSINESS
Discussion and Possible action regarding:
A. Report on Change Orders to Contract with Myers Concrete Construction, LP
for City of Dripping Springs STP MM CAMPO Project CSJ: 0914-33-065:
Mercer Street Pedestrian Improvement Project-Ms. Fischer gives a report on the
change order. She states that the City Council approved the change orders for
changing an asphalt specification and removing four lights. They did not approve a
change order on the depth of the concrete sidewalk. She states that the City Council
approved ordering and installing the four lights on its own.
B. Report on Mercer Street Improvement Project Groundbreaking Event-
Commissioner Lehr reports on the groundbreaking event. It was well attended with
approximately 100 people.

e. Brochure-Commissioners review a proposal from Nio
Graphics, Inc. to create a brochure, poster and sign.
2. Participation in Christmas on Mercer Street
a. Booth

Commissioner McIntosh volunteers to store the booth tent and
materials in his business. Commissioners delegate
responsibilities for the booth and discuss talking points. They
ask Ms, Fischer to see if the City can use Square or a similar
credit card purchasing application tell leaves. Commissioners
request electricity for the booth.

4. Pedestrian Enhancements & Landscaping
5. Special Events-Commissioners discuss participating in the Founders
Day Festival. They would like the parade theme to relate to Mercer
Street.
6. Publicity-Commissioners request the City Administrator to obtain a
domain name for the Mercer Street Project webpage that is on the City
website. Commissioners discuss a press release for the Community
Giving Tree.

B. Regular Historic Preservation Commission Meeting, December 2, 2013, 5:30 p.m.
VI. ADJOURN-Commissioner Freeman makes a motion to adjourn, seconded by
Commissioner Chandler. VOTE: all in favor. The motion is carried. The meeting is
adjourned at 7:02 pm.
