Parks and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes A regular meeting of the City of Dripping Springs Parks and Recreation Commission was held Monday, June 13, 2016, beginning at 6:00 PM in the City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas. I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Robbie Zamora, Chair (DSYSA) Eric Russell, Vice Chair (DSYSA) Robert Hayden (CODS) Rich Moore (DSISD) Wade King (CODS) Ron Jones (DSISD) Eric Henline (DSISD) David Douglas (CODS) City Staff/Appointed Officials: Michelle Fischer, City Administrator Commission Chair Robbie Zamora calls the meeting to order at 6:00pm. All present except Commissioners Ron Jones and David Douglas. II. PRESENTATION BY CITIZENS Discussion open to floor on any subject. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to speak shall do so after being recognized by the Chair. The Chair and Commission may establish a time limit on each citizen wishing to speak. No one speaks. III. CONSENT ITEMS Discussion and Possible Action Regarding: A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, May 9, 2016 - Commissioner Eric Henline motions to approve the minutes. Commissioner Rich Moore seconds. VOTE: 5-0 in favor, motion passes. Commissioner Wade King joins the meeting at 6:05pm. IV. BUSINESS Consideration and Possible Action On: A. Improvements and Repairs to Founders Memorial Park Pool House and Pavilion – City Administrator Michelle Fischer provides a report. Commissioner Rich Moore motions to approve the color and materials as recommended by Consultant Keenan Smith. Commissioner Wade King seconds. VOTE: 6-0 in favor, motion passes. B. Report on Release of Sports and Recreation Park Baseball and Softball Fields by Dripping Springs Independent School District - City Administrator Michelle Fischer provides a report. No action taken. C. Fiscal Year 2017 Budget Request 1. Charro Ranch Park 2. Founders Memorial Park 3. Dripping Springs Ranch Park 4. Sports and Recreation Park 5. Veterans Memorial Park/The Triangle Commission discusses potential budget requests for the FY 2017 year. No action taken. Commissioner Eric Russell leaves the meeting at 7:50pm. Page 1 of 2 V. Lighting Compliance Committee Report - Eric Russell VI. ANNOUNCEMENTS A. Regular Farmers Market Association Board, June 14, 2016 at 10:00am B. Regular City Council Meeting, June 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. C. Regular Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting, July 11, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. VII. ADJOURN - Commissioner Eric Henline motions to adjourn.
