Page 15 The City of Dyer Board of Mayor and Alderpersons met in a special called meeting on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 9:09 PM (the meeting was scheduled for 7:00 PM, but the committee meeting ran over). Those present were Mayor Chris Younger, Alderpersons Bob Moore, Fred Ivie, Marty Graves, Tom Mikkelsen, and Jennifer Hughey. The City Attorney was not present. The purpose of the meeting was: 1. Consider Hiring an Assistant Municipal Clerk 2. Consider Hiring Temporary/Part-Time Workers for a Special Project 3. Consider Employee Compensation Adjustments for Certain Employees Motion made by Tom Mikkelsen, seconded by Fred Ivie to hire Kristin Gordon as Assistant Municipai Clerk at a rate of $10.50 per hour. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Tom Mikkelsen, seconded by Marty Graves to authorize the Mayor to hire two temporary/ part-time laborers for a special project(the Eagle Community Center). Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Tom Mikkelsen, seconded by Jennifer Hughey to increase Richard Pugh's compensation by $0.50 per hour. Motion carried with all ayes. With no other business properly before the board, motion made by Fred Ivie, seconded by Marty Graves that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried with all ayes.
