Page 7 The City of Dyer Board of Mayor and Alderpersons met in regular session, Monday, January 27, 2020, at 7:05 PM. Those present were Mayor Chris Younger, Alderpersons Ray Carroll, Bob Moore, Fred Ivie, and Michael Barren. Attorney Mark Johnson served as City Attorney. Motion made by Michael Barren, seconded by Fred Ivie to approve the minutes of the January 13, 2020 regular meeting. Motion carried with all ayes. Department Reports The City Recorder presented the December 2019 financial report. Committee Reports Motion made by Ray Carroll, seconded by Michael Barron to hire Sam Hill as a regular full-time employee effective January 27 at $10 per hour with an increase to $12 per hour beginning with the 2020-2021 budget. Motion carried with all ayes, New Business Motion made by Ray Carroll, seconded by Fred Ivie to approve PO 9238 to Rogers Hydrant Service for $1,800.00 for Hydrant Repair. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Fred Ivie, seconded by Michael Barron to approve PO 9237 to USA Bluebook for $2,000.00 for Sewer Machine Hose (this was an emergency purchase approved by the Mayor). Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Ray Carroll, seconded by Michael Barron to pay the accounts. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Ray Carroll, seconded by Fred Ivie to adjourn.
