Page 47 The City of Dyer Board of Mayor and Alderpersons met in a special called meeting on Thursday, June 30, 2020 at 6:10 PM. Those present were Mayor Chris Younger, Alderpersons Ray Carroll, Bob Moore, Craig Blackburn, Michael Barren, Marty Graves, Tom MIkkelsen, and Jennifer Hughey. The City Attorney was not present. The purpose of the meeting was: 1. Pass on 2"'' and Final Reading Ordinance 2020-263(2020-2021 Annual Budget & Tax Levy) 2. Pass on 2"'' and Final Reading Ordinance 2020-264(Amend 2019-2020 Annual Budget) 3. Approve PO M-9343 to Privitt for $4,580.00 for Outfitting Police Tahoe 4. Authorize Hiring Temporary/Seasonal / Part-Time or Full-Tlme Public Works Employee Motion made by Jennifer Hughey,seconded by Marty Graves to pass on its second and final reading Ordinance 2020- 263, an Ordinance to Adopt the 2020-2021 Annual Budget and Tax Levy. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Tom MIkkelsen, seconded by Jennifer Hughey to pass on its second and final reading Ordinance 2020- 264, an Ordinance to Amend the 2019-2020 Annual Budget. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Marty Graves, seconded by Tom MIkkelsen to approve PO M-9343 to Privitt for $4,580.00 for Outfitting Police Tahoe. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Tom Mikkelsen, seconded by Jennifer Hughey to authorize hiring a seasonal, part-time, or full-time employee. The motion was withdrawn with the consent of Hughey and Mikkelsen. Motion made by Ray Carroll, seconded by Jennifer Hughey to authorize the Mayor with the consent of the Vice Mayor to hire two(2)seasonal full-time employees with an end work date of September 15, 2020 at a rate of $10 per hour. Motion carried with all ayes. With no other business properly before the board, motion made by Ray Carroll, seconded by Jennifer Hughey that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried with all ayes.
