Page 59 The City of Dyer Board of Mayor and Alderpersons met in regular session, Monday, August 10, 2020, at 7:10 PM. Those present were Mayor Chris Younger, Alderpersons Craig Blackburn, Bob Moore, Michael Barron, Marty Graves, Tom Mikkelsen, Jennifer Hughey, and Fred Ivie. The City Attorney was not present. Motion made by Jennifer Hughey, seconded by Craig Blackburn to approve the minutes of the July 27, 2020 regular meeting. Motion carried with all ayes. Mayor's Report Mayor Younger announced that one bid had been received for Solid Waste Disposal. Republic Services submitted a base bid of $10.68 per pickup. Motion made by Michael Barron, seconded by Fred Ivie to accept the bid as compliant with the specification. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Michael Barron, seconded by Fred Ivie to award the base bid (only) to Republic Services. Motion carried with all ayes. New Business Motion made by Jennifer Hughey, seconded by Michael Barron to approve Board Motion 2020-001 concerning paving projects within the city. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Craig Blackburn, seconded by Michael Barron to approve PO A-5050 to American Development Corp for $2,492.50 for Water & Wastewater Chemicals. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Michael Barron, seconded by Fred Ivie to pay the accounts of August 10, 2020. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Jennifer Hughey seconded by Michael Barron to adjourn.
