Page 63 The City of Dyer Board of Mayor and Alderpersons met in regular session, Monday, August 24, 2020, at 7:05 PM. Those present were Mayor Chris Younger, Alderpersons Bob Moore, Craig Blackburn, Jennifer Hughey, Tom Mikkelsen, Michael Barron, and Fred Ivie. The City Attorney was not present. Motion made by Craig Blackburn, seconded by Jennifer Hughey to approve the minutes of the August 10, 2020 regular meeting. Motion carried with all ayes. Department Reports The City Recorder presented the July 2020 financial statements. The City Recorder also presented the CT-0253 "Report on Debt Obligation" concerning the recently issued capital outlay notes; this will be filed with the Comptroller of the Treasury. New Business Motion made by Fred Ivie, seconded by Craig Blackburn to approve PC A-5057 to Amazon for $4,684.20 for Remote Work Laptops {these are 100% Reimbursable CRF Funds), Motion carried with all ayes. Alderman Ivie noted that a resident had contacted him concerning chickens at her neighbor's house. Alderman Ivie will give the details to the City Recorder. Motion made by Jennifer Hughey, seconded by Tom Mikkelsen to pay the accounts of August 24, 2020. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Jennifer Hughey seconded by Craig Blackburn to adjourn.
