Page 7 The City of Dyer Board of Mayor and Alderpersons met in regular session, Monday,January 25, 2021, at 7:02 PM. Those present were Mayor Chris Younger, Alderpersons Bob Moore, Craig Blackburn, Michael Barren, Marty Graves, Ray Carroll, Tom Mikkelsen, Jennifer Hughey, and Fred Ivie. The City Attorney was present. Motion made by Craig Blackburn, seconded by Bob Moore to approve the minutes of the January 11, 2021 regular meeting. Motion carried with all ayes. Department Reports The City Recorder encouraged those present to continue to spread the word about tax relief. The City Recorder also reported that repairs to the Influent station at the Wastewater Treatment Plant had been concluded. Gibson Electric agreed to assist with a pole truck which obviated the need to rent a crane. Committee Reports Mayor Younger appointed Aldermen Blackburn, Moore, Graves, Carroll, Barron, and Ivie to an ad hoc committee for the review and revision of the Charter of the City of Dyer. New Business Motion made by Bob Moore, seconded by Craig Blackburn to approve the Policies & Procedures for the THDA Home Grant. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Craig Blackburn, seconded by Fred Ivie to adopt Resolution 2021-317, A Resolution to Establish Usage Fees for Public Sporting Grounds within the City of Dyer. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Craig Blackburn, seconded by Jennifer Hughey to approve PO A-5179 to Hawkins (formerly American Development) for $1,688.30 for chemicals. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Bob Moore,seconded by Jennifer Hughey to pay the accounts of January 25, 2021. Motion carried with all ayes.
