Page 47 The City of Dyer Board of Mayor and Alderpersons met in a special called meeting on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM.Those present were Mayor Raymond E. Carroll, Alderpersons Fred Ivie, Marty Graves, Jennifer Hughey, Bob Moore, and Michael Barren. The City Attorney was not present. The purpose of the meeting was: 1. Pass on First Reading Ordinance 2021-268, an Ordinance to Amend the 2020-2021 Annual Budget 2. Pass on First Reading Ordinance 2021-267, an Ordinance to Adopt the 2021-2022 Annual Budget and to Levy Taxes 3. Approve up to $7,499.99 to Privitt Services for Installation and Repair of Fire Department Radio Repeater 4. Approve up to $2,000.00 to Higdon Electric for Retrofitting and Installation of Electric Service in Portable Building for Fire Department Radio Repeater 5. Consider Hiring Employee for Water & Wastewater Department 6. Approve Certain Purchases 7. Cancel June 14, 2021 Regular Meeting Motion made by Bob Moore,seconded by Jennifer Hughey to pass on first reading Ordinance 2021-268, an Ordinance to Amend the 2020-2021 Annual Budget, Motion carried with all ayes. Motion made by Fred Ivie, seconded by Marty Graves to pass on first reading Ordinance 2021-267, an Ordinance to Adopt the 2021-2022 Annual Budget and to Levy Taxes. Motion carried with all ayes. Motion carried with all ayes. There were no other purchases to approve. Motion made by Jennifer Hughey,seconded by Fred Ivie to cancel the June 14, 2021 regular meeting. Motion carried with all ayes.
