City of Dyersburg Board of Mayor and Aldermen January 2, 2024 1. Call to Order: The Board of Mayor and Aldermen convened for a scheduled meeting on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dyersburg Municipal Court Room. Mayor John Holden called the meeting to order. All members were present with the exception of Alderman Baltimore. Others present were William Northcutt and Chief of Police, Steve Isbell. The meeting opened with The Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer by Aldermen Cole. 2. Public Comment: None 3. Approval of Minutes: Mayor John Holden called for a motion to approve the minutes from the December 4, 2023 meeting. Alderman Crawford made a motion to approve the minutes and Alderman Cole seconded the motion. All voted in favor. 4. Unfinished Business: None 5. New Business: A. Public Hearing – Beer Permit INZ Trade LLC DBA: All-In-One (Shell Station) 810 US Hwy 51 Bypass W Dyersburg TN, 38024 Chief of Police, Steve Isbell, stated that all application material had been vetted and reviewed by city and police department staff. Chief Isbell recommended approval of the permit. Mayor Holden called for a motion to approve the permit. Alderman Harrison made the motion to approve and Alderwoman Webb seconded the motion. Mayor Holden then asked for public comments. No public comments were given. All voted in favor. B. Bids – Greg Williams Department: Police Item: 7.5-ton rooftop gas pack hvac unit Purpose: Heat & cool squad room and offices on West side of police station Budgeted: No – Repair & maintenance item Notification – None – Emergency replacement Bids: Willis Electric No Response Windle HVAC $16,790.00 Billy Rogers Plumbing $12,500.00 Mayor John Holden called for a motion to approve the bid for Billy Rogers Plumbing. Alderman Hammond made the motion to approve and Alderman Cole seconded the motion. All voted in favor. REPORT FROM ALDERMEN AND ALDERWOMEN: James Baltimore: Edward Burks: no report.
