City of Dyersburg Board of Mayor and Aldermen May 5, 2025 1. Call to Order: The Board of Mayor and Aldermen convened for a scheduled meeting on Monday, May 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the Dyersburg Municipal Court Room. Mayor John Holden called the meeting to order. All members were present with the exception of Alderman Crawford. 2. Public Comment : none 3. Approval of Minutes: Mayor Holden called for a motion to approve the minutes from the April 21, 2025 meeting. Alderwoman Webb made a motion to approve the minutes and Alderman Cole seconded the motion. All voted in favor. 4. Unfinished Business: A. TDEC Storm Water signature sheet 5. New Business: A. Notice of Public Hearing – May 19, 2025 - An amendment to allow the Planning Commission to consider multiple tenant business Center signs for developments on multiple parcels and added definitions. Mayor Holden called for a motion to approve the public hearing. Alderman Moody made a motion to approve the amendment and Alderman Harrison seconded the motion. All voted in favor B. Bids – Debbie Harris: none REPORT FROM ALDERMEN AND ALDERWOMEN: James Baltimore: No Report Edward Burks: Alderman Burks asked when Ford Construction would begin paving. City Recorder Scott Ball stated that they were slated to begin Monday, May 12, 2025. Willie Cole: No Report. Rick Crawford: Ricky Hammond: Alderman Hammond asked for prayers for the family of former Alderman Terry Glover.
