MINUTES CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP SESSION Thursday, November 20, 2025 Zoom and City Hall Council Chambers, 271 9th St NE, East Wenatchee, WA Present: Mayor Crawford, Councilmember Arnold, Councilmember Johnson, Councilmember Magdoff (zoom), Councilmember Stimmel (zoom) and Councilmember Castellente. WORKSHOP SESSION Councilmember Ken Arnold called the East Wenatchee City Council Workshop to order at 5:35 p.m. 1. COUNCIL TABLETS City Clerk Laura Leon facilitated a discussion with the Council regarding the use of City iPads/tablets. Comments provided by all Councilmembers that were present. No action was taken by the Council. 2. COUNCIL COMMITTEE AND BOARDS Mayor Crawford facilitated a discussion to determine Councilmembers interest in City representation roles for 2026. Comments provided by all Councilmembers that were present. No action was taken by the Council. 3. OPIOID FUNDS Mayor Crawford stated the item was not ready for discussion and directed the meeting to proceed on to the next agenda item. 4. LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES Mayor Crawford shared a draft document titled: 2026 Legislative Priorities. She reported that staff had identified community needs and operational challenges, developing an agenda of specific issues, or policies where the city should seek advocacy during the 2026 legislative session. Comments were provided by all Councilmembers present. Mayor Crawford indicated that a finalized version of the document based on feedback would be presented at a future City Council meeting for Council consideration. No action was taken by the Council. 5.
