Continued discussion of Water/Sewer rates Greg will contact Tighe & Bond to pick up and build on what they had started prior to COVID. Re-evaluate the rates and possibly look at different approach. Storm water will be part of this study also. Irrigation is something to consider and how the rate should be set. Possible rate change for fiscal year 23. Would like to educate the public on what the City is dealing with in upgrades and how WWTP is deteriorating. Maybe tours possibly, so they have visual of the issues. 5. Director’s Report 1. Main Street- Union Street traffic light hit Tuesday. Hard work from Highway, Motor Repair and Water, getting detours and cones in place, so the light was repaired and operational by 7 pm. The light and crosswalk signal, will brought to standard when can be replaced. The City will pay for it initially, and then will be reimburse by the insurance company. 2. Northern Tree working on issues around the city with week. Many tree issues around the city. Appropriation needed to get the city’s tree issues caught up. 3. Appropriation from retained earnings for Enterprise- WWTP repairs, small things and updating of plant communication between pump stations are adding up to a larger cost. New meters for water are also need to come from this funding. 4. Main Street paving will take place Friday November 19 and Saturday 20 from 7am to 5pm., Detour set up, Coleman Road to Gun Road to Park/Line Street.
